"Here, thou incestuous, murderous, damnèd Dane,Drink off this potion. Is thy union here? Follow my mother".Act.5 Sc.2 p.281 l.356-358. Hamlet talks to Claudius and compels him to drink the poisoned wine. After his mother dies from the poisoned drink he he finally is ready to take revenge and force Claudius to drink the poison. But at the end everybody dies from the poison and he did not really take revenge. He only constrained Claudius because he knows that he is poisoned to.So its not really a revenge. " I am satisfied in nature,Whose motive in this case should stir me most To my revenge. But in my terms of honor I stand aloof, and will no reconcilement Till by some elder masters, of known honor, I have a voice and precedent of peace To keep my name ungored. But till that time I do receive your offered love like love And will not wrong it."Act.5 Sc.2 p.273 l.259-265 Laertes is talking to Hamlet about his fathers death and that he can forgive him because Hamlet was insane when he killed Polonius. He says even though he has enough reasons to take revenge his is going to forgive him.On the other side he says that he can not forgive him so fast because of his honor.Laertes doesn´t want to damage his reputation that why he can´t forgive him so fast. But he accepts Hamlets love.In the end of the book we see that Laertes did not forgive Hamlet instead he kills him with poison.Accepting Hamlets apology is a part of Laertes revenge so it fits under the Theme Revenge. "Does it not, think thee, stand me now upon He that hath killed my king and whored my mother, Popped in between th' election and my hopes,Thrown out his angle for my proper life (And with such cozenage!)—is ’t not perfect conscience To quit him with this arm? And is ’t not to be damned To let this canker of our nature come In further evil?" Act.5 Sc.2 p.263 l.71-80 Hamlet is talking to Horatio and asks him if he has the right to kill Claudius who killed his dad, made his mother to a whore ,toke the Thrown Hamlet deserved and tried to kill Hamlet. He asks if it is moral correct to kill the king now with the sword.Hamlet says at the end that it would be better to kill Claudius no before he does more harm. This part shows that he confused and mad his is.He has all the rights to kill Claudius and he knows that but he is just to weak to take revenge. The passage is a main part because he has the chance to kill him right now but he doesn´t do it. Hamlet is never strong enough to take revenge. "Why, as a woodcock to mine own springe, Osric; Act.5 Sc.2 p.279 l.336-337 This passage is about Laertes who is about to die from his onw poison. He says that he is trap in his one trap.On the first view it seems to have no connection with revenge but this part shows that he was ready to die for his revenge because he killed Hamlet the king and the queen.Laertes is stronger than Hamlet his was able to to take revenge even though that meant that he has to die.
